Sophie Prévost, ASID, and Robert Cole, RIBA, created ColePrévost in 1996, melding backgrounds in Architecture, Interior Design and Academia.

Robert Cole, AA Dipl., RIBA

Robert studied in the US and at the AA School in London, where he became a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. From 1980-1996, he was a professor of architecture, teaching design and theory in London, Sydney, Michigan and Washington, DC. He continues to teach; Most recently as the Ruth and Henry Moore Visiting Professor of Architecture at the Washington University in St Louis.

Sophie Prévost, ASID

Sophie grew up in Monaco, MC. She studied Fine Arts in Paris. In 1982 she moved to the US for her professional studies, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and a Master of Architecture. Prior to forming ColePrévost in 1986, she was a senior designer with Lehman-Smith-Macleish. In 2015, she was elected into the Washington Interior Design Hall of Fame.
